Seasonal Descriptions

15.0% alc vol. This vintage was fermented as whole bunches and has provided outstanding colour and flavour. Bottled July 2016 and cellared till 2017 prior to release.                   Gravity filtered and not fined. Cellar till 2025 (very limited stocks remaining.

13.0% alc vol. This vintage was selectively harvested early during an unseasonal cool break from the late summer heat. Whole bunches were fermented over 10 days and                   followed with 12 months of aged French and American Oak. Fine varietal fruit supported by a lingering spicy finish. Gravity filtered and unfined.

13.6% alc vol. An April harvest was created by late frosts in October 2016. Good yields of fine fruit were aged in seasoned oak for 12 months. Subtle varietal fruit is                   balanced with underlying oak nuances on the finish. Gravity filtered and not fined.

13.9% alc vol. An excellent year with regard to winter rain which was further supported by welcome follow up rain in the Spring. At harvest the flavour profile of the fruit was                    superior to the previous year and this followed through to the finished wine which completed 12 months in lightly toasted oak. Gravity filtered and not fined.

14.5% alc vol. Following the loss of the 2019 harvest to unseasonal frost, the vineyard has had a year of fallow that has permitted it to restore its fertility. And the                    evidence is revealed in this vintage. An incredibly robust wine that will provide years of cellaring for those with a patient palate. Alternatively for those who can't keep a                    secret.....enjoy it while you can get it. Gravity filtered and not fined.
